isatopia’s illustrations
Isatopia is the creative home of Isabelle Gelot, a French illustrator and designer who works out of an old fisherman’s house on the rocky coast of Maine. Her illustrations draw from earthy folk patterns, playful childhood stories, and colorful landscapes from her own journeys around the world. She works on editorial projects, children’s stories, pattern designs, and special commissions.
Sometimes she teams up with her husband, the writer Will Hunt. Check out their illustrated story about traveling an ancient Maya pilgrimage road in an article for Orion Magazine.
